Oh Sarah,

My heart goes out to you. I cannot imagine what Sasha must have gone through to feel so much pain. I am so thankful that God is giving you peace and helping you to stay focused. It is hard at times and I cannot imagine being in your shoes. God obviously knew what he was doing when he made the match as you are so patient and kind and such a perfect fit for this little boy that needs stability and love. I think about you every day and wondered how you were doing. I knew how much your heart ached to return to Russia to bring this boy home. To not have any help must be so hard. Please let us know if we can do anything (even if it is just to lend an ear to allow you to vent).

You remain in my thoughts and prayers!! Mom's too!

Sarah, You have been in my thoughts and prayers since your last post. I have been so worried about you and Sasha. He is a very fortunate little boy to have you as his Mom. Your love and patience will get you through the toughest times. I want you to remember the verse Philipians 4:13,"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." My Mom always said that you can do anything with Christ's help and even though sometimes it seems too hard, you will get through it with the love of Christ, your family, and your friends. Please know that you and Sasha are so loved. We are here if and when you need us. Love, Mimi Marilyn

Sarah,
You have also been in my thoughts since your last post about trying to get home. I Do hope that things have gotten better and will continue to get better and better for both you and Sasha. I know you are doing all you can to help your son. Please know that there are many of us out there you don't know that are praying for better, brighter days for the both of you.

Sarah -

We adopted Brady and were at the VMI with you when you adopted Sasha.

I check your blog all the time to look for updates on you and Sasha. I hope you are doing well, though I am certain it has been a long and difficult road for you both. I cannot wait to read about the progress you have made, when you are ready.

Andi (and Taylor, Madison, and Brady)

Please look up www.beyondconsequences.com

It is about parenting children with traumatic begginnings. I have been there! I adopted 2 from Russia as a single mom. Please get the live DVD! It will change your life for the good! I hope to see happy post! It takes awhile! In my prayers!

I forgot to also suggest - join single russian moms yahoo chat group. They offer so much help and support. Many have been through what you have been through!
